Intermountain Adventist Academy is a K-10 Christian school committed to providing quality education in a Christ-filled environment. We have been serving the Grand Valley since opening in early 1900.

Our school is part of the world-wide Seventh-day Adventist school network. The Seventh-day Adventist educational system includes elementary and high schools, colleges, and universities in countries around the globe.

OUR MISSION STATEMENT

It is the purpose of Intermountain Adventist Academy to offer all students the tools to become men and women of excellence, academically, morally, and spiritually.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

At Intermountain Adventist Academy, we believe that God created human beings in His own image, “fearfully and wonderfully made,” and with a divine purpose. Because of that, we believe that each student deserves the highest level of respect, honor, and commitment. We also believe that in order for students to achieve their best, the school, the church and their home must develop a working partnership with God as the center of all.

OUR VISION

Students at Intermountain Adventist Academy will:

- Learn loyalty and respect for God and country.

- Develop a deep love for life, truth, morality, and honesty.

- Value excellence in academics as a means to achieve God’s purpose for their lives.

- Acquire a strong appreciation for service to others.

OUR ACCREDITATION

Intermountain Adventist Academy is recognized as an accredited private school by the North Central Accrediting Association (NCAA). The NCAA is the authorized body under SITA (the national authority for all school accreditations) for the states in our region. We are also fully accredited by the Accrediting Association of Seventh-Day Adventist Schools, which is a member of the National Council of Private School Accreditation.
